We’re FOUND!

Founded by Niharika Pathak, Noam Dee & Jasmine Rogers, FOUND is a cross-cultural platform using photography and bookmaking to generate meaningful exchange between emerging photographers in the UK & Japan.

Building on our first project ‘Found in Translation’ (exhibited at Photo London & T3 Festival in Tokyo), we’re now expanding into hands-on research, workshops, and new publications that celebrate bookmaking as an art form.

Follow along as we share our journey - from rural papermaking villages in Japan to workshops and exhibitions in the UK - and meet the artists, students, and craftspeople shaping this dialogue.

 Zine - Get Involved!

In October 2024, we were awarded a trip to Japan, to attend the T3 Photo festival, and build connections with other photographers within Japan. Here are a few things we did during our time there!

FOUND visit Nichi-gei University, Tokyo
-> During our visit, we met up with other photographers in Tokyo, where we were able to start discussions around photobooks! The beginning of ‘Found in Translation’.

In December 2025, FOUND was award funding to return to Japan in 2026.

During this trip, we want to go further by giving ourselves, and others, the chance to expand our network. While we have partial support from The Great Britian Sasakawa Foundation, without additional funding, this opportunity cannot happen.

So, we are now working towards raising money, to give others the opportunity we did!

We would be grateful for the support!
